The price is very fair, you get to try is 100% free, if you love the service, you can stay on as a membber for $14.95 a month and download unlimited songs. It's worth a shot, if you don't like it you got 7 days of downloading for free!
A small con of Napster is that you cannot directly have simple drag and drop access to iPods (because Apple only wants you to use iTunes). For other MP3 players (non-iPod) this is not an issue at all. But you can always export the songs as mp3s and put them on your ipod, or burn them onto a CD and then drag them onto your iPod so this really isn't a big deal.
